Located on the shores of Ludlow Bay and overflowing with Pacific Northwest warmth, The Fireside Restaurant is an ideal setting for Farm-To-Fork locally sourced food. This tranquil location is a favorite for dinners. Though resort feels like it’s located in the middle of nowhere, it’s just a 15-minute flight from downtown Seattle. Overall, though, - this is a great place to dine when staying at the Inn or in the area and the view from the patio or if seated near the window inside the restaurant is unbelievably serene and beautiful.Tucked beside the quiet shores of Ludlow Bay, on the majestic Olympic Peninsula, the Resort at Port Ludlow offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Seattle. The hours - this place should stay open at least past 9 pm - was surprised, while staying there - that we could not find dining on-site after 9 pm (and there are NO places open really around the Inn - within 10 miles or so. The service - very uneven and very slow at times. My only complaints are around the size of the bar - it's very small. with dinner to follow at 6:30pm with a multi-course tasting menu prepared by Executive Chef Dan. I also really thought their sausage - homemade, I believe - was exceptional. Good happy hour location We often go to the Fireside, located at 'The Inn at Port Ludlow' for their 4-6:00 PM happy hour which features a special reduced price happy hou menu, and a selection of reduced price wines and beer. The Fireside Restaurant at the Resort at Port Ludlow. They have a potato/hashbrown - that was probably one of the best I have ever had. Enjoy onsite activities like boat tours and hiking/biking. The Caesar was just OK - I would recommend opting for another salad choice if going in that direction. I highly recommend the burger option - though their menu changes frequently. We really enjoyed the Happy Hour - excellent food at an excellent value. We stayed at the Port Ludlow Inn recently and dined at this restaurant on 3 occasions.
